EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST
Class limited to 10 students ---- Minimum age is
12yrs.
The
EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST course is offered by Jack's Dive Center, Inc.
Jack's Dive Center has been training divers since 1975.
Have
you ever driven two and a half hours to Newport to go diving? When you arrived, some vital piece of diving equipment wasn't
operating just right. You then had
to make a decision either to limit your diving, find an authorized repair facility (taking all day), or had to abort your
diving all together and then drive all the way back home without ever getting
wet. This doesn't have to happen to
you. Your diving can be fun and enjoyable without
any more wash-out dive experiences or disasters.
Whether
you already own your own equipment, or desire the honest facts about diving
equipment available today, this course is for you. During this course you will learn practical knowledge on the
theory, principles and operation of diving equipment. Learn how to perform
minor repairs, routine recommended care and maintenance of diving equipment.
Learn how to properly store you equipment during your off-season.
Also you
will gain the knowledge of what is available in current high quality diving
equipment which will supply you with a long service life.

THAT THIS IS NOT A REGULATOR REPAIR CLINIC AND DOES NOT CERTIFY YOU TO OVERHAUL
DIVE EQUIPMENT.

REQUIREMENTS:
Participants
must be enrolled in a Jack’s Dive Center, Inc. Open Water training program or
be a certified Open Water diver. Participants
should study the SSI Equipment Techniques training material.
EQUIPMENT:
Students
are required to study the SSI Equipment Techniques training materials.
Training materials are available at Jack's Dive Center, Inc.
